How To Prep for an Exterior Drone Photoshoot/Video Filming
How to prep your house for your upcoming drone photo shoot or video shoot! by Licensed Drone Operator Jackii Sovern
Here are some tips you may not always think of (these must be done PRIOR to the photographer’s arrival, not on the photographer’s time. It is an appointment for photography and cleaning does not begin when the photographer arrives.
OUTSIDE
Please remove the cars from the driveway and place them away from the house. (Not in front of the house)
Please remove all cleaning supplies, cleaning tools, and toys from the inside of the pool and the surrounding area of the pool.
Please refrain from lawn mowing or yard work (or landscaping scheduled) during the scheduled time slot.
The photographer does not approach the house. She stays on a side street. The shoot typically takes 15 to 20 minutes.
If you live on a main road & cannot move your cards aside, let the agent know so you can contact the photographer directly to drive around the block for 15 minutes during droning.
All of this must be done prior to the photographer's arrival and not on the photographer’s time. There will be no waiting or asking you to move your cars as it must be done before arrival. The photographer will shoot as is upon arrival.
CHECKLIST - PRIOR TO THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S ARRIVAL
ARE ALL THE CARS OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY?
IS THE BACKYARD READY TO GO?
ANY PACKAGES OR SHOES ON THE FRONT PORCH OR BACK DECK?
IF FILMING VIDEO PLEASE TAKE ANY ANIMALS INSIDE.
